Detailed Description
Your expert Florentine guide will take you through the narrow alleys showing you UNESCO world heritages, and he will take you to the lesser known areas of the city centre.
You will visit the Academia and see the world famous David by Michelangelo, Listen to stories about how no other artist in Florence could work with this block of marble, but Michelangelo was able to turn it into his masterpiece. You will also see other monuments housed in the Academia.
The Duomo of Florence is the most recognised landmark in Florence. It has a dome designed by Brunelleschi and from outside you can see the famed bronze Baptistry Doors. Then you will walk to Piazza Della Signoria, a square filled with statues, fountains and beautiful architecture.
You will also learn the history of Ponte Vecchio and you will have the opportunity to try some gelato and trippa before you walk back to the San Marco Square where the tour ends.
