Learn about the making of Panamanian crafts with this 4-hour tour through the town of La Tablas. You will visit around 2 to 4 local artisans where at each stop you will learn about the making of drums, hats, vases and more. You will know the process of making the typical national costume of women and at each stop you will have time to buy some crafts. The starting point and end will be at the Hostal Casita de los Kimmell.

Detailed Description
Leaving the Hostal Casita de los Kimmell, you can learn about the elaboration of Panamanian crafts with this 4-hour tour. First you will meet an artisan expert in the making of skirts. This is the feminine national costume and its elaboration process is one of the most complex and long in the world. Together with the local guide, you will learn about the mundillo technique and other techniques to make the striking embroideries that you will appreciate during the tour.
During the tour, you can meet 2 to 4 local artisans. The next stop will be in places where they make curtains, drums, painted hats, vases and more. You can learn about the process of making each product and its use within Panamanian folklore.
Between each stop, you will have enough time to admire the crafts or buy a souvenir to take home. The tour will end at the same starting point, at Hostal Casita de los Kimmell.
