Detailed Description
The starting point will be at Cafe Balzac near U-bahn Schönhauser Allee, you will meet your guide at 11:00 AM. You will learn a lot about the gastronomic culture of Berlin, its history, you will dine in local restaurants and some street food stalls.
You will learn, mainly, about the history and preparation of some of the most popular dishes in Berlin such as Currywrust, this is one of the most famous dishes of street food. You will also taste some regional beers, restaurants for vegetarians and vegans, different cakes and you will learn about the famous cuisine of the Middle East.
On this tour you will also learn a little history of Berlin narrated by your local guide. You will learn about the neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg, communist Berlin and the Stasi and many interesting facts about the city. The final point may vary according to the last restaurant you visit.

How much walking is involved?
We categorize the level of the tours as ‘easy‘. We have organised a very good mix of walking and sitting and eating, so you are never on your feet too long.

Will there be too little or too much food?
If anything there will be slightly too much food on offer. There is a tasting session at each of the six stops.

At what age are children free?
If your child is under the age of 12 years old and wants to join and eat on the tour, we offer a € 4.00 EUR discount. Simply purchase the adult ticket and the remaining amount will be discounted when paid in full on the day of the tour.
