Detailed Description
Immediately, after leaving the Machico harbour, you will search for a feeding frenzy of seabirds that are associated with dolphins and/or whales. The itinerary depends on the weather and sea conditions.
More than 20 species of cetaceans have been recorded on the warm waters of Madeira islands and some can be seen all year round. Though May to October is the best season in Europe for Wildlife and Madeira is no different. Between November and February seabirds are hardly observed and the number of cetacean species around is smaller.
After 2 hours of searching for cetaceans in their natural habitat and admiring the beautiful natural scenery of Madeira, you will return to the Machico harbour.
