Detailed Description
You will depart from Lyon’s City Centre in a minivan to quickly arrive at your first stop at Pierreclos Castle from the 15th century. You will taste some wines of this vineyard engaged in organic farming. Its 8 hectares of vines produce an excellent Pouilly-Fuissé and Burgundy Pinot Noir.
Then you will pass the mythical Roche de Solutré to observe unique limestones escarpment and then you will arrive at the Chateau de Chasselas, a prestigious historic site with remarkable aesthetics. You will end this day with a wine tasting from the estate accompanied by a muffin. This traditional snack, typical of the region, will allow you to taste also some local gastronomic specialties.
At the end of this 4.5 hour tour, your guide will drive you back to Lyon’s City Center.
