Detailed Description
Leaving the Kinlay lodge on Merchants Road, Galway at 09:30 AM, you will travel through Claddagh and Salthill, then west and along the south coast of Connemara, looking out over Galway Bay, traveling along the Camino Wild Atlantic. You can enjoy this panoramic view before reaching your first stop.
On the way, you can also admire the picturesque villages of Barna, Furbo, Spiddal, and Inverin, you will see thatched huts, dry stone walls, mountains, forests, rivers and streams, lakes, Connemara ponies, amazing beaches and unspoiled wetlands and deserted islands.
Next, you will arrive at Pearse's Cottage, Rosmuc. You will hear the story of Patrick Pearse who was one of the leaders of Irish nationalism and a signatory of the Irish Independence Proclamation. Then, you can admire the swampy landscape of the desert and experience the tranquility and isolation of Connemara.
You will make a photo stop in the fishing village of Roundstone and then you will leave by the Wild Atlantic Way route. On the left is the iconic Dog's Bay Beach, which stretches a mile to the Atlantic Ocean.
Then, you will meet Derrygimlagh Bog. This remote site was the center of the world of communications and aviation at the beginning of the 20th century. You can see some twists and turns made in the skies by some trained pilots. Before ending this trip, you will get to know the wonderful landscape of the Twelve Bens and Maumturk mountains through the Inagh Valley and on the main road from Galway to Clifden, where we greet the impressive giant of Connemara. The tour will end at the same starting point at your hotel in Galway.

If you can cancel within 24 hours of the tour commencing, no refund is possible.
If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours of the tour commencing, we will refund 50% of all fares.
If you cancel between 14 days and 48 hours of the tour commencing, we will refund 75% of all fares.
A minimum administration fee of € 5.00 EUR will apply to all cancellations.
If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to completion, no refund will be made, and no rescheduling will be possible.
