Detailed Description
This tasting tour will take you to some of the hard to find local beer bars that are springing up around the city. First you will start the evening at an independent microbrewery called the Garage Beer, where you will take a guided tour of their beer production facilities and meet some of the staff and owners, plus one sample or three of their delicious artisan ales in their attractive bar.
Meanwhile your expert guide, a Catalan brewer from the town of Caldes de Montbui, will guide you through the flavors of what you’re tasting as well as he gives you an in depth insight into the history of beer production. After you’ve emptied a couple of glasses at the brewery, you will head next door to one of Barcelona’s finest beer bars where your guide will help you choose from one of thirty beers on tap, and you can get to know your fellow beer lovers on the tour in a fun social environment.
Then there’s one final stop, a petite little beer bar where you will finish the tour with a final glass or two of man’s greatest invention, either from Catalonia, Spain or one of their international guest beers.
