Day Trip To Anton Valley From Panama City

This one day shared tour in Anton Valley starts at 7am when your bus picks you up at your hotel in Panama City to take you to Anton Valley. You will arrive at the Valley at 9.30am and the first place you will visit will be the Handicraft Market. There you can find a wide variety of crafts and unique pieces made by artisans from the Anton Valley and you can also find snacks and rolls made by the locals. You can take advantage of this first stop to buy souvenirs, have breakfast and go to the bathroom if you wish. Breakfast and souvenirs are not included in the tour price.

The next visit you will make will be to the Museum. At the museum you can learn history and curious facts of the Anton Valley, as well as you can see pieces made over 100 years ago by the indigenous habitants of the region. At the end of the tour in the museum, you will be taken to EL Macho waterfall “Chorro El Macho”, a place surrounded by nature where you will go trekking accompanied by your guide and at the end of the trekking tour, you can bathe in the waters of El Macho waterfall if you want. At El Macho waterfall you will have the option to do Canopy for an additional cost around 80.00 USD per person and you have to coordinate this with your guide when starting the tour.

Your next stop will be at a local restaurant to have your lunch (included in the tour price). Lunch covers a maximum of 10.00 USD per person and includes soda, water or any other non-alcoholic drink.

After having enjoyed your lunch, you will be taken to the Níspero Zoo, one of the most attractive places in the Anton Valley. In the Níspero Zoo you can enjoy natural landscapes and observe a wide variety of animals ranging from small mammals, felines, reptiles and amphibians to more than 40 species of birds, and you can also see ornamental and fruit plants (some of them for sale) that are in the plant nursery inside the zoo.

The last place you will visit will be the Thermal Wells “Pozos Termales”. In the Thermal Wells you will find small pools in which you can immerse yourself if you wish, just make sure to bring your swimsuit. The waters of the pools or Thermal Wells contain mineral waters with natural healing properties that benefit the skin. In addition, these waters are maintained with a warm temperature where you can relax, and you can also put on the natural mud mask that also has natural properties that benefit your skin. The entrance to the pools and the natural mud mask are included in the tour price.

Around 4pm, after having enjoyed your tour in the most recognized places in the Anton Valley, you will be taken back to your hotel in Panama City. You will arrive at your hotel in Panama City approximately at 6.30pm.

Prices for children
Children from 0 to 3 years old do not pay the tour and must be brought on your lap, when in the vehicle, if they occupy a seat, then they have to pay 20 USD.

Transportation
- Depending on the amount of people, the tour can take place on buses with capacity up to 27 passengers or in minivans of 6 or 8 passengers.
- All vehicles and buses have air conditioning and do not have wheelchair access.
- Special seats for babies (babies car seats) are not available.
