Detailed Description
This tour starts at 8:00 AM in the offices of Expedition Coiba Panama (that is the meeting point), from there you leave by boat to the beach of Coiba National Park.
You will visit Granito de Oro Island and you will do some security exercises after receiving a theoretical induction from a certified PADI instructor who will accompany you at all times during the experience. After the safety exercises you will dive a little to demonstrate your skills.
Then you will visit the administrative offices of Coiba National Park and take a Snack (Sandwich accompanied by juice, water and cookies), and then return to the water. You will we are going to dive a second time on another island and then If the weather allows, you will go to a third island to relax and/or do some snorkeling. About 4:00 PM you will return to the start point.
For the Discovery Scuba Diving you will learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. One of the things you will learn is that you can actually breathe underwater and whether you like to do it or not. What you will do in the first dive is:
- Learn how you feel with the diving equipment set and how easy it is to move in the water while you carry it.
- Realize what it is to breathe underwater and find out if you can find yourself comfortable there.
- Learn some basic exercises and safety rules that will take you to your complete certification course when you take the next step. The second dive in Coiba National Park has a maximum depth of 12 meters with the instructor.
