Downhill Kick Bike Tour Wachau

After your guide picks you up at Hotel Mailbergerhof, he/she will take you with a mini bus (new Mercedes Viano) to the famous UNESCO world heritage area Wachau, where you will enjoy a short walk through the beautiful monastery “Stift Melk”.

After this unique cultural heritage, you are going to take a short ride with a fantastic kick bikes through the old town to get a feeling for these cross scooters. In the historical town of Melk, you’ll have time for a break at the most traditional local butcher of Melk for snacks and sandwiches, they also offer vegetarian specialities.

Now you are already experts with the scooter, so it’s time for the first cruise on a twisty road through the scenic parts of Wachau. Before you ride down the 1st hill, you have the chance to visit the old castle Aggstein (entrance included), be ready for sharp curves and top speed (65 km/h).

You will continue the journey with the oldest method to cross the Danube river, be surprised how smooth this will work (ferry fee included). After this exciting crossing you’ll get to the 2 longest and most amazing kick bike rides (5km) this region has to offer.

After these thrilling downhill tracks, you will stop at a local wine producer for a typical wine tasting, where you can try the unique tastes of Austrian wines. There you also have the chance to try typical Austrian snacks close to the Danube river (not included). You will arrive to Vienna normally at around 6:00 PM where your guide can take you back to the meeting point or to one of the main subway station.
