Detailed Description
Enjoy an amazing and unique experience walking on the rooftops of the majestic Duomo Cathedral, there are no other churches in the world offering this opportunity.
The tour will start in front of the main central door of the Cathedral, where you will meet your guide. You will enter the Duomo ad walk through the main nave as you learn the history of the city and its architectural and artistic features of the building.
The second part of the tour will take you at the elevator’s entrance, so you could head up the steepest part of the Cathedral’s stairs to reach the first terrace, saving you from 200 strenuous steps, this lets you reach and almost touch all the flying buttresses, crockets, spires and statues. Walking through them you will see the breath-taking skyline of Milan, and your Guide will explain you all the building that you could admire from the top.

- Dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered to enter inside the Cathedral; during the hot days wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun on the roof; the staircase to reach the highest terrace is particularly narrow and with smooth marble: use comfortable shoes, preferably with rubber sole.
- The rooftops are not accessible to people with disabilities.
- Prams & strollers are not allowed on the rooftops.
- On the terraces there are neither toilet facilities, nor coffee bars: bring water with you.
