I have a specific diet /food allergies – can I take part in a Food Tour anyway?
If you have food allergies (e.g. milk, eggs) or if you follow a particular diet (e.g. diabetic), it is still possible for you to attend our Food Tours. Be careful though -you will need to tell us this information when booking on our site so that we can adapt the tastings for you.
If you are vegetarian, it is still possible to attend our Food Tours. Again, be careful though – you will need to tell us this information when booking on our site so that we can adapt the tastings for you.
However, if you follow a vegan diet, it will not be possible to attend our Food Tours. Portuguese cuisine is predominantly based on meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products and is thus not compatible with a vegan diet. -
I am in a wheelchair – can I take part in a Food Tour?
The city of Lisbon was built on seven hills, and our Food Tours, therefore, include slopes, descents, stairs and passage ways through narrow streets that are not very accessible. Regrettably, we must strongly advise that people in wheelchairs do not participate on the tours.
-
Are there toilets accessible during the Food Tour?
Yes, during our Food Tours, you will have regular access to the toilets in our partner establishments.
