Detailed Description
Your guide will be waiting for you at Plaza Catalunya in the corner of the square, opposite to Desigual Store. He will be holding a blue umbrella with a bat logo. The nearest metro station is Catalunya.
The tour takes around 2.5 hours and you will take a trip through late 19th, early 20th century upmarket Barcelona, to see the life and works of Catalunya’s architectural genius, Antoni Gaudi. You will explore the social, cultural and political forces that shaped the physical appearances of these stunning buildings. From the houses of surgeons, industrialists and chocolatiers through the masterpiece La Sagrada Familia.
You will also visit Passeig De Gracia, Edificios Rocamora, Palau Malagrida, Casa Battlo, Casa Amatler, La Pedrera and Casa Lleo Morera. At the end of the tour you will find yourself at a short walk from Hospital Sant Pau (5 min), Bodega Del Poblet – Don Pepe (3 mins), Estrella Damm Old Brewery (10 mins).

Reservations are not strictly necessary on the free tours but, if you haven’t booked, we strongly recommend arriving at the meeting point early in case that day the tour fills in.
