Detailed Description
Your guide will be waiting for you at Plaza Catalunya in the corner of the square, opposite to Desigual Store. He will be holding a blue umbrella with a bat logo. The nearest metro station is Catalunya.
This tour takes around 2.5 hours and your guide will walk with you to show you 200 years of Barcelona history from Roman ruins, gothic architecture through the 1992 Olympics. You will meet kings, queens, invaders, dictators, artists, film stars and even a Hairy Catalan.
You will visit Placa de San Felip neri, Placa del Rei, Santa Maria del Pi, Cap de Barcelona, the Barcelona Cathedral, Roman Tombs, Canaletas Fountain and the Jewish Quarter.
Finishing at around 1:30 PM the tour is ideal to then head off in search of the other wonderful things to do and see in the city. And if you plan to go to the beach, it’s just a 10 minute walk from the last stop. So, don’t forget your swimsuits!
