Detailed Description
The starting point will be from your hotel in San Jose at 7:00 AM. Then, you will travel in a minivan 75 minutes through the Caribbean until you reach the famous Braulio Carrillo National Park. At this point, you will take a short break to go to the bathroom before continuing with the tour.
You will go up to a vehicle that will transport you inside the humid forest, the guide will explain to you a brief introduction about the forest, the flora and fauna of the place. You can visit a small river and trees that are homes of birds such as the white hawk and the woodpecker.
Then, you will make a walk through the forest trails for 45 to 90 minutes until you reach the starting point of the cable cars. You will board along with the local guide and will begin the ascent until you surpass the treetops full of beautiful ferns, mosses and orchids. The trip will be approximately 75 minutes, on the way you will stop several times to take pictures or you can get off at any of the charging stations.
Finally, it was time to travel back to the city of San José but not before enjoying a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch and then you will be back at the same starting point.
