Guided Evening Tour in The Heart of Rome

This 2.5 hour walking tour starts from Piazza del Popolo where you will meet your guide at 7:00 PM, this place famous for the second largest Egyptian Obelisk in Rome and the surrounding lion fountains in the center of the city square. You can also admire the famous twin churches of Bernini and the fountains of Neptune and Dea Roma.

Then you will head towards the Plaza de España, one of the most famous places in Rome.
Once you enter Piazza di Spagna, Piazza di Spagna, you will find the Fontana della Barcaccia Bernini fountain.

Then, the 138 newly restored staircases will take you to the top of the charming staircase where the Santa Trinità dei Monti church is located. You will walk along the winding streets, your guide will take you to see the Pantheon, one of the most impressive, ancient and best preserved monuments in Rome.

In a few occasions people realize that within this church are the tombs of important famous people of the past, such as the artist and architect Raffaello Sanzio, King Vittorio Emanuele II, King Umberto I and his wife Margherita. In fact, the classic Pizza Margherita is named after the queen and represents the colors of the Italian flag: green basil, white mozzarella cheese and red tomatoes.

Also, you will pass through the famous squares of the city center and you will pass through beautiful fountains, including the famous Trevi Fountain, renovated in 2016, where the film "La Dolce Vita" was filmed.

The tour will end in Piazza Navona at 9:30 PM, within walking distance of "Campo de 'Fiori" or Trastevere, both perfect areas for a good drink and / or dinner after the tour.
