Half Day Eco Boat Tour Through Lake Gatun

This Eco Tour by boat is a shared tour on Gatun Lake that begins with your pick-up around 7:30 am at your hotel in Panama City to take you to The Gamboa Resort Marina for boarding. You will arrive at the Marina at 8:20 am and board the boat to begin the tour on Gatun Lake. We recommend you go to the bathroom before starting the boat trip.

The boat trip on Gatun Lake starts with a tour on the area where the boats that cross the Panama Canal pass, there you can see ships passing towards the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean and your guide will tell you about the history of the Panama Canal. Then you will sail around the Islands that border Gatun Lake and you will see the diversity of wildlife such as different monkey species, reptiles and variety of birds, so make sure you bring your camera! All the time your biology specialist guide will be giving you information regarding the animals you will see during your tour and there will be chips, fruits and water available in the boat (included in the tour price). If you want to bring snacks apart from what the tour already includes, you can do it.

You will return to The Gamboa Resort Marina around 11:40 am and you will have time to go to the bathroom while your guide accommodates the boat and then take the car to transfer you back to your hotel in Panama City. You will arrive at your hotel approximately at 1:00 pm.

If your reservation is from 1 to 4 people, you will be picked up and drop off at your hotel in a 4X4 vehicle.
If your reservation is from 5 to 8 people, you will be picked up and drop off at your hotel in 2 vehicles, a 4X4 and a sedan.
