Detailed Description
The tour will start at 9:00 AM from your hotel in Bath, when you will be picked up in a comfortable 9-seater van by your guide for the day. You will then be transported away from the crowds to discover the beautiful countryside and rolling hills of the Cotswolds
On the way, you will drive through country lanes that twist down wooded valleys, past ancient villages and curious sheep! Arriving at our first destination, you will explore the village and learn of the history of the area, and why the Cotswolds were so important. Take time to admire the picturesque cottages and experience English hospitality.
Your guide will tell you the story of the birth of England, why this ancient town became the heart of the country for 1000 years and much more. You will also visit the oldest hotel in England dating back to 1200 and have a delicious lunch in a rural pub that used to be frequented by some kings.
On this tour you will also visit the incredibly romantic garden of a large country house where you will enjoy a delicious afternoon tea surrounded by flowers and a beautiful green landscape. The tour will end at the same starting point at your accommodation in Bath at approximately 5:15 PM.

For inclusive (price per seat) tours, all tours are fully refundable up to one week before the tour. Between seven and two calendar days before the date of a tour a 50% refund is available. Any cancellations made within the two days leading up to the date of a tour are non-refundable.

How fit do I need to be?
All our tour experiences are designed to be as accessible as possible and most people with average or even below average mobility and health should be able to enjoy every part of our experiences. Each one does require a small amount of walking however, so if walking more than a few hundred yards poses a difficulty, please contact us and we can advise you on whether a particular experience is suitable. Of course, we will do our best to accommodate your needs as much as possible.
