Detailed Description
The meeting point will be at the Manchester Piccadilly train station at 8:20 AM, it is better if you arrive 10 minutes before the departure time. Once at the train station, you will meet a representative of Manchester Sightseeing where he will give you your train ticket and a guide to use throughout the tour.
You will travel an hour by train to the city of Chester, where you will visit the beautiful cathedral founded as a monastery more than 800 years ago. Once you get to the place you can take a touristic bus ride from Chester station to the river.
Then, you will ride to Chesterboat in The Groves for a 30-minute ride on the River Dee and you can take amazing pictures. Next, you will make a walking tour of 90 minutes in the center of the city. You will know the history and legend of Chester, you will see the famous Roman walls and the medieval rows.
You will be back at the Chester station to start your return trip to Manchester, once you arrive at the same starting point the guide can provide you with the necessary information to return to your hotel.
