This adventure begins by meeting your guide at Downtown Las Vegas for this 2 hours Segway tour, first you will receive an orientation and training on the equipment. Most are very comfortable with the controls and maneuvering after practicing for just a few minutes you will be ready for this adventure on wheels.
Once you are ready and feel comfortable, let the fun begin. Follow your guide to the origin of Las Vegas to see Vegas’ oldest, still open and operational casino. You will be able to see Vegas’ oldest freestanding bar, a place where customers once watched atomic blasts from the roof. Interact with spectacular outdoor sculptures and art brought to Las Vegas by the dreamers of the “Life is Beautiful” movement.
Hear about the man with the golden arm and his record breaking feat of rolling the dice for three hours and six minutes. See a 55 foot tall praying mantis made famous at the Burning Man festival – a mantis that shoots flames from it antennae in the evening.
Next, see how old Las Vegas has transformed into a vibrant, inspirational downtown community. As we pass historic buildings, learn about Las Vegas’ secret speakeasy bars, where to see $1 million in cash, the world’s largest chunk of gold, an enormous slab of the Berlin wall and so much more!
As the tour continues, enjoy seeing a drive through and walk up wedding chapel, a wedding may be occurring as we pass by. History channels Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is on the route as well as the oldest school in the Las Vegas valley. At the end you will be going back to the meeting point.

We will always allow you to reschedule your tour for another day or another time if you are faced with a circumstance that is outside your control.
Jake's Excursions does not offer refunds for any reason within 24 hours of the scheduled tour.
The reservation may not be canceled or rescheduled by the customer for any reason (e.g.. illness, weather, change of travel plans, missed plane, overslept, etc.) within 24 hours of the scheduled tour without forfeiture of the full tour price.

Are tours cancelled in case of rain?
Very rarely. In the Las Vegas desert, the rain stops as quickly as it starts, therefore tours operate rain or shine. If the weather refuses to cooperate, and there is thunder and lightning present, we will have to discontinue the tour. If this occurs, we will reschedule, or you will be refunded the full payment amount.

Can a child who meets the requirements for the tour take the tour without a parent or guardian?
All children (guests under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult always during the tour.

Can I ride a Ninebot by Segway anywhere in Las Vegas?
Unfortunately, No. Las Vegas City ordinance prohibits devices on the Strip and the Pedestrian Walkway. Your guide will ensure that you experience historical Las Vegas safely.
