Detailed Description
On this 4.5 hour hiking tour, in which you will be exploring all five tiers of Kalihiwai Falls. You will be picked up at your hotel and then taken on this Kauai hike. You will also view the beautiful terrain of our pristine private ranch. Of all Kauai adventures, this tour alone gives you access to the top of Pu’u O’ Henui (a 500-foot gain).
Here you will enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the entire north shore. Then you will hike the lowland rainforest, learning about Kauai’s history, flora and fauna. Next descend a ten-foot rock wall to Kalihiwai Falls. Here you will have this 80-foot waterfall all to yourself for swimming and relaxing with a delicious picnic.
Your Kauai hike continues up-valley alongside several streams. Hiking time is three hours, and hiking distance is approximately four miles across varied terrain. This tour is rated moderately strenuous. It includes roughhewn stairs, multiple stream crossings plus climbing up and down a ten-foot rock wall. By the end you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Cancellation Policy
24 hours’ notice for 1-5 guests. 72 hours’ notice for 6 or more guests.
Cancellation, changes or no-shows outside these policies will be charged the full amount of the tour.
All tours go out rain or shine. In the event Princeville Ranch determines the conditions to be unsafe, guests will be rescheduled or provided a full refund prior to the tour.

Requirements?
Children ages 5 to 15 years old must be accompanied on tour by an adult guest who is at least 18 years old. Children aged 16 and 17 years old may tour without an adult. A parent must sign a liability waiver at check-in.

Are there any restroom on your tour?
We have restrooms at our check-in office. These are the only ‘porcelain facilities’ you’ll encounter while on tour.
