Laguna Hule Treking Day
This 8-hour tour starts at your hotel, from which you will depart at approximately 7:30 AM and will travel for 1 hour and a half to the San Carlos field until you reach the Juan Castro Blanco National Park, from there you will walk along the path until you see the volcanic lagoons. Then go to the viewpoint to eat a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch. After this, you will pass through the Toro river waterfalls. At the end of this tour you will be returned to your hotel.

Detailed Description
You will leave your hotel in Fortuna at 7:30 AM to travel for 1 hour and a half the plains of San Carlos, bordering the Juan Castro Blanco National Park until you reach the first destination, Laguna de Hule. Once there, you will start the tour through the volcanic lagoons where you will be going through the area of pastures, bordering the forest of the volcanic caldera.
During the descent we will go into the typical forest of the region and we will be able to observe excellent views of the landscape surrounding the main and secondary lagoons.
This route of 7 kilometers consists of a trail circuit where you can visit 2 of the 3 most important volcanic lagoons of these have from 15 to 55 hectares in diameter.
Then, you will reach the main viewpoint where you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch with a panoramic view of Laguna de Hule.
As a final part of the tour you will pass through the Toro Hydroelectric Project waterfalls, where you can admire waterfalls from 60 to 180 meters high
