Detailed Description
Leaving Funchal in the direction of the north side of the island, you will cross the Ribeiro Frío where you can admire some of the most beautiful perennial leaf mountains. At this point you will start a short walk from Levada da Serra do Faial to Balcoes.
After 30 minutes of walking you will arrive at a flat land where you will admire the incredible view in the middle of the valley where you will be able to see some birds flying among the tops of taller trees. Then, you will go to the jeep where you will take an off-road ride until you reach Santana, one of the most emblematic cities of the island.
From there, you will travel to Santo da Serra, better known as the place where you will find the Ribeira Primera Park. In park is a unique and sustainable project in the middle of the forest. You can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and fish your own trout. Finally, you will continue down the road through Morena while enjoying the view of the southeast of Madeira until you get back to the starting point.
