Mangote Island Full Day Tour

This one-day tour to Mangote Island (Isla Mangote), starts when with your pick up at your hotel or residence in Panama City around 6:00 am. You will be given more information about your pick-up time after you make your reservation and the driver's schedules are organized. After picking you up, you will be taken to the farm where you will board the boat that will take you to Mangote Island. On the way to the farm, the driver will make a stop at a restaurant so you can have breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the tour price and the cost is between 3.00 and 6.00 USD per person.

You will arrive at the farm at 7:30 am and you will be given time to get ready to go to the island, you can take advantage of this moment to change your clothes or go to the bathroom if you want. At 8:00 am you will board the boat that will take you to Mangote Island and you will arrive at the Island around 8:05 am. When you arrive on the Island you must accommodate your things in a ranch and then, you will start the trekking tour with your guide. The trekking tour begins on the Mangote Island path where you will appreciate the nature of the path while your guide tells you how the Island was born and its history. On the path lives a little monkey named Dora La Exploradora, do not be surprised if she comes to meet you! So have your camera ready.

At the end of the path, there will be a boat waiting for you. You will board the boat to take a boat tour on the mangroves and then you will return to Mangote Island and you will have free time to enjoy the Island. You can do kayaking, snorkelling, play soccer on the beach or if you think it is better, you can relax and rest in the sand or in a hammock.

Approximately at 12:00 pm you will have your lunch (included in the tour price) and after lunch you can continue enjoying the Island. At 3:00 pm, after having fun on the Island, you will board the boat that will take you back to the farm, where you will have time to take a shower, change your clothes and then, at 3:45 pm, board the car that will take you back to Panama City. You will arrive at your hotel or residence in Panama City around 5:00 pm.

Prices for children
Children from 0 to 3 years old: They do not pay the tour and lunch is not included.
Children from 4 to 11 years old: Pay for the tour and lunch is included.

Car transfers
- From 4 to 9 people: the transfer will be in sedans.
- From 10 to 15 people: the transfer will be in a bus.
- From 16 people onwards: the transfer will be in a coaster.

All vehicles have air conditioning.

- Fish fillet with patacones and tomato salad with lettuce.

Lunch includes soda or water.
