Detailed Description
This half day tour will start you meeting with your guide at the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence at 7:00 AM and if it is at summer time at 8:00 AM, to travel on trean to Pisa. During the 5.5 hour tour, your guide will provide useful information and maps about the city and its monuments.
On the way to Pisa your guide will tell you about the bell tower of the Cathedral, known as "Leaning Tower of Pisa", it is the most famous image of the city, it is one of the many works of art and architecture in the Piazza del Duomo of the city, also known since the twentieth century, as Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), north of the old town. The Piazza del Duomo also houses the Duomo (the Cathedral), the Baptistery and the Campo Santo (the monumental cemetery).
Once in Pisa, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore the monuments, take photos, visit the stalls selling souvenirs, climb the leaning tower and admire the interior of the Duomo.
After having toured Pisa, you will return with your guide to Florence around 12:30 PM
