Detailed Description
This half hour dog sled tour captures the very best of the landscapes Canada has to offer. In this short tour you will meet your guide at Lake Louise, from here you will walk to the offices, where you will hop on a dog sled, with approximately 8 dogs guiding you through the already set snow tunnels.
Admire amazing views of the tallest peaks and icy blue glaciers, and a magical jaunt through our woodland trail. Every sled is guided so the guests have the best experience of the silent grace and beauty of dog mushing.
In this tour they never put strangers together, the sleds comfortably accommodate 2 adults. When you and yours book a tour, it will be only the 2 of you. The guides have years of combined mushing experience that spans countries and continents, which means they have great stories and a perfect safety record and the dog care is indisputable.
Kingmik Dog Sled Tours is privileged to be the only company to offer tours in one of Canada’s World UNESCO Heritage Site, Banff National Park. End Your tour in our offices, and if you like hop on another adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are there age restrictions?
No. We’ve taken 6 month old babies on a tour, and an 87 year old elder. The only consideration when taking out the very young and the elderly, is the temperature. If it’s very cold, their participation must be considered carefully.
-
Can parents send their kids out alone?
Certainly, on the Mushing 101. On the Great Divide Tour, we need to discuss this with parents. Parents must be present to sign waivers for their kids.
-
Can we bring treats for the dogs?
Absolutely! The guides like treats too!
