Panama City Partial Tour and The Canal from Tocumen Airport

To start with this partial shared tour of Panama City and the Canal, you will be picked up at the Tocumen Airport, you can choose between different times to start your tour. Your guide will be waiting for you at Tocumen Airport from the indicated time on your reservation and he will be identified with a “Fascinating Adventures Travel” sign. You must show your booking confirmation to start the tour.

You will board the transportation that will take you to the most recognized sites in Panama City. You will do a panoramic tour of the Modern City and you will also go to the Old Town, where you can visit historical places such as the Cathedral, the Golden Altar in the Church of San José and The Vaults. Throughout the tour your guide will be providing you with information about the sites you will be visiting, and you can take photos at the stops. After doing the panoramic tour in the Modern City and the Old Town, you will be taken to “La Calzada de Amador”, Causeway. The Amador Causeway is a road that connects Panama City with 4 Islands of the Pacific Ocean and is one of the most popular sites in Panama City. You will have time to take photos and enjoy excellent panoramic views including the view of the Americas Bridge and the Bay of Panama. There will be a brief stop at the Duty Free in Amador, this is the only duty-free shop in Panama City, and you can buy gifts and other articles if you want. The next stop will be at the Handicraft Market, there is a great variety of unique handmade pieces that you can buy at affordable prices to take with you a souvenir that reminds you your time in Panama.

After visiting the Handicraft Market, you will be taken to the Visitor Centre of the Panama Canal. On the way to the Visitor Centre, you can get off to take photos in the Panama Canal Administration building. In the Canal Visitor Centre, you can learn everything related to the history of the Canal, from the beginning of its construction, to see ships passing through the locks while they explain the operation of the locks. Entrance to the visitor centre is not included in the tour price and costs 20.00 USD for foreigners and 5.00 USD for residents.

Around 12:30 pm the excursion will be culminating to return you to the place you choose. You can decide between staying at Albrook Mall, returning to your Hotel or staying at any restaurant on the road. You just have to tell the driver where you want to be dropped off.

Children from 0 to 3 years old do not pay the tour and must be brought on your lap, when in the vehicle, if they occupy a seat, then they have to pay 20 USD.

Transportation
- Depending on the amount of people, the tour can take place on buses with capacity up to 27 passengers or in minivans of 6 or 8 passengers.
