Detailed Description
The tour begins when you are picked up in a vehicle at your hotel or residence in Panama City. Your guide will take you on a trip of approximately 30 minutes to the Visitor Centre of the Panama Canal in Miraflores. Upon arrival, you will admire this impressive work of modern engineering, while your guide shares with you the story of how the Panama Canal and its locks were made. You will also see the Miraflores locks in action from a covered terrace in the Visitor Centre.
After visiting the Panama Canal, your guide will take you in a vehicle to your next destination that is the Old Town of Panama City. You will do a walking tour with your guide through the Old Town visiting the most emblematic parks, churches and streets while sharing with you the story of this place.
Then you will board the vehicle again to go to the Amador Causeway. Here you can have lunch if you like (lunch not included in the tour price) and then you will make a stop in Flamenco Island where a “PANAMA” sign is located to take photos.
The tour ends with your return by vehicle to your hotel or residence around 12:30.
