Detailed Description
This Patios and Pubs walking tour offers you a 3 hour visit to different patios located in the downtown Cultural District. First meet your guide at The Rhapsody (Dolphins) sculpture, throughout the tour you’ll learn about the various landmarks and some fun facts about our beautiful city and the Okanagan.
First visit the Tree Brewing Beer Institute and meet with a "Beer Geek" who will educate participants in the craft beer making process. You will also get to sip samples of their tank to tap brews and taste their unique beer inspired creations. From here go to Rose’s Waterfront Pub that offers a stunning view of the marina and some of the tastiest food in the Cultural District. Their extensive menu features a wide array of small plates, burgers, pastas, sandwiches and entrees.
After these two places you will visit El Taquero is an authentic taqueria which offers visitors tasty tacos and a refreshing beverage, here the tacos and tortas are inspired by the street side taco stands of Mexico City. Then go to The Train Station that holds a special place in Kelowna’s history. They serve up everything from flatbreads, bowls, burgers and delicious drinks using local ingredients.
At the end visit BNA Brewing Company, this brew house offers visitors amazing food, craft beers, and an outgoing, friendly atmosphere.
