Detailed Description
In this bus tour of almost 10 hours, you will be picked up between 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM in our offices, to start this wild adventure. First you will be taken to the Moonlit sanctuary on the Mornington Peninsula. There you will meet some of Australia's most iconic wild animals, such as kangaroos, koalas and wallabies. You'll also see lots of birds, Tassie Devils, wombats, emus, dingoes and more. Then you will head towards Phillip Island.
Next, you'll head to Seal Rocks and the Nobbies Center for a walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mornington Peninsula from the westernmost point of Phillip Island. There you can also get a preview of the main event, the Little Penguins, while they hide under the boardwalks and pull their heads out of the burrows waiting for the sunset when the other penguins return from the ocean.
Shortly before sunset you will head to the Parade of the Penguins, preparing to see the hundreds of Little Penguins as they traverse the beach and return to their burrows in the sand dunes. You can see them reunited with their partners, where they give each other a little kiss, they do a dance and then they go into their burrows. After this unforgettable afternoon you will return to the same place where you started around 9:30 PM.
