This 9-hour tour begins when you are picked up at your hotel in El Arenal and consists of hiking through the jungle areas of La Fortuna. Then you can rappeling down a waterfall and then Rafting in the river Balsa. At the end of the tour, enjoy a Costa Rican lunch and then return to your hotel or pick-up point.

Detailed Description
This 9-hour tour begins when you are picked up at your hotel, from there you will be transported in a 4x4 vehicle to the outskirts of La Fortuna until you reach the foot of the Arenal Volcano where you will be given a brief informative session and a security session. From there you will start a walk along a path inside the tropical jungle.
Next, you will get to a part to do waterfall rappeling on one side of the canyon. From there, you will once again enter the vehicle and head for your second adventure consisting of rafting on the Balsa River rapids. During this adventure you can enjoy tropical fruits and cold drinks to recover your energy. At the end of this tour you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. At the end of the day you will be returned to your hotel or meeting point.

If WAVE Rafting must cancel an activity due to weather conditions, we will offer options such as changing the same activity for the following days and/or other activities. In case you are unable to move your tour to an alternative day or activity you will receive a 100% refund.
