To start with this private Robinson 66 Helicopter tour in Panama City, you must make your own way to the Marcos Gelabert Albrook Airport which is 15 minutes from Panama City by car. It is possible to take uber or taxi to the airport. If you drive to the airport, you can leave your car parked at the airport parking area with no additional cost. You can choose between different times to start the tour and you must be at the Airport 30 minutes before the start time of your tour.
The operator will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the lobby where you will be shown a security measures video. You will learn how to get on and off to the helicopter, and other security measures that you have to take in consideration for your tour. You can take advantage of your time in the lobby to go to the bathroom if you wish.
After the security measures video, you will be taken to the hangar which contains the helicopter, in which you will do the tour. You can take pictures with the helicopter while the pilot prepares it for the take off. When the pilot tells you that everything is ready to take off, you will board the helicopter to start your tour over the Panama City.
Your first destination will be the Centennial bridge and the bridge of the Americas, these are bridges that cross the Panama Canal. Then, you will fly over the Canal locks.
