Rocky Mountain Beverage Tour

This 8.5 hour day tour begins at the base of the Calgary Tower, where you will meet your guide. After some introductions you will be taken to the west of Calgary, known for its western culture and hospitality is the home to the first stop Half Hitch Brewing Company, here you will find three brothers and their sister working hard, they will share their engaging, sassy story of the Farmer’s Daughter as you sample their tasty brews.

You will continue your journey enjoying the stunning scenery as the landscape quickly transforms from the gentle rolling slopes of the foothills to the impressive and inspiring strength of the mountains, you will arrive to Grizzly Paw Brewery, they will welcome you with samples of their beer and soda, continue by jumping over to the Grizzly Paw Restaurant an original brewery and where you will enjoy some local cuisine.

After you will take a quick five minute ride to the Canmore Brewing Company, originally from eastern Canada. The last mountain stop is Banff Brewing Company and Pub located right in the heart of Banff a true Alberta success story with four locations, every location praises their beer as fresh, modern, honest, and innovative.

As you go back to Calgary relax and enjoy the true Alberta scenery transformation melt away from ridged mountains, sloping foothills to the expansive prairie and agricultural rich farm land. The last stop will be at Bottle Screw Bill’s, only a two minute walk from the Calgary Tower. This iconic establishment is a pioneer and trail blazer, now with over 300 beers on their menu local, national and international alike they are the ultimate ambassador for the craft beer industry.
