Detailed Description
You will meet your guide outside the Metro Colosseo ground exit to start the tour. With skip the line tickets you will enter the Colosseum’s Underground area and begin a journey back in time to when gladiators and wild beasts fought to the death in the amphitheatre.
Enjoy the views from the third tier ( perfect photo opportunity) before exiting the Colosseum to proceed with an overview of the Forums, ancient centres of religious and political life. The ending point varies according to the last stop of the tour.
Note:
- Occasionally the Colosseum’s hypogeum and third tier are not open for visitors. In such cases, your guide will take you to where you can see the hypogeum from a very short distance, see a reconstructed trap door used to release ferocious animals into the arena, and bring you to spots within the arena that afford excellent panoramic views.

Cancellation Policy
In the event you need to cancel your tour with Selected Tours Italy, you must advise us in writing as soon as possible. If you do cancel, the following amounts are non-refundable: Cancellation after your deposit has been received but more than 7 days prior to the tour date: minimum of 30% of the total cost, more if components of your tour were secured with non-refundable deposits. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the tour date, or no-show: 100% of the total cost.
