Detailed Description
On this Saint Emilion 5 hours wine tour you will explore the enchanting village and its vineyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
First meet your guide at our offices in Bordeaux, from here take a bus that will take you to a winery that is a prestigious Chateau Grand cru classe from this area and taste some amazing wines. Afterwards, you will be taken on a guided walking tour of the medieval village of Saint Emilion to explore its thousand year old history, followed by tasting regional wines.
You will finish the afternoon on a tasty note at a family owned winery where you will be offered delicious local specialties such as cheeses and cured meats with wines, French lifestyle at its best, at the end you will be back to the offices with an amazing experience.

Is a meal included in the tour?
A meal is included only for the full-day wine tours, that being Tuesdays and Fridays. However, at some wine estates, the tastings include local gourmet products such as cheeses, cold cuts, macaroons, etc.

Who goes with the group?
Each group is driven by a qualified guide. The guides also have a chauffeur’s license. Some even have a tasting aptitude certificate (DUAD) from the University of Bordeaux Wine Studies Department.
