Detailed Description
Meet your guide at Plaza Nueva to start your 4.5 hour walking tour with a visit to one of the favourites Seville establishments, an abaceria. Traditionally where locals shop, these are now great places for tapas in the city. While you get a crash course in eating tapas in Seville from your local expert guide, you’ll enjoy a delicious vermouth paired with a few tasty bites to whet your appetite.
The tour follows to one of Seville’s oldest and most traditional bars where you will taste an expertly sliced acorn-fed Iberian ham and a local white wine. As you enjoy this Spanish delicacy, your guide will begin to lead you through the roots and mysteries of flamenco, from its unclear origins to its current worldwide fame, you’ll see how Seville fits into this remarkable story.
Then you will enjoy a Flamenco show. You will walk to Santa Cruz neighbourhood to enjoy a Flamenco show in a beautiful 15th century building. You will feel the power, passion and sheer drama of real flamenco. The dancing, singing and guitar playing for an unforgettable show.
After the show, you will go for a sit-down tapas dinner in a hidden family-run tapas bar that serves delicious food and fantastic local wines. Your tour will end in Plaza Nueva.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What's a Devour Seville food tour?
Great question! A Devour Seville food tour is a fun, fascinating and (most importantly!) delicious introduction to the incredible city of Seville. Our food tours visit some of the city’s best traditional eateries, including tapas bars, local markets, taverns and shops, and hidden gems that few even know exist! You’ll taste some of Seville's best local food and gain fascinating insight into its age-old traditions. We keep our groups small and every tour is led by an English-speaking guide who knows Seville like the back of their hand and loves it to bits.
-
How many people will be on the tour?
Don’t worry, you won’t be part of a massive hoard following a guide with a flag or a flamenco fan! We keep our groups small and intimate, so the tour can squeeze into small, hidden places and you get personal time with your guide. The maximum number of guests on this tour is usually 10 people and we only require two guests to operate a tour.
-
What should I bring?
Most importantly, your appetite for food and knowledge! Also, keep in mind that tours take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if it looks like rain. Also, we recommend you wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be walking a few kilometres. Finally, while we do serve water on the tour at some stops, we recommend you bring a bottle of water.

Is this tour a good fit for families?
This tour is a great fit for families with curious teens and kids who would enjoy discovering true Spanish culture and enjoying an exciting and authentic flamenco performance. We offer teen and child pricing and they will be served non-alcoholic drinks. Please note that the flamenco venue does not allow children younger than 6 years old to enter, so this experience is restricted to children aged 6 years and over.
