Detailed Description
Departing from your hotel at 8:30 AM, your guide will drive you to Sintra, passing the old village as you head up hill to the Pena National Palace, the most visited attraction in Portugal. Here you will enjoy incredible views of the Moorish Castle.
You can explore the inside of the Pena Palace for about 1.5 hours and the countryside. Then, you will have free time to explore the old medieval village of Sintra. You will then stop for lunch near the village or at the coast of Sintra (not included).
After lunch, your guide will drive you to the wine region of Colares, where you will visit a wine cellar and stop on your way at the Seteais Palace and the Monserrate Palace for pictures. At the wine cellar you will taste red and white wines from different ages.
To end your 8 hour tour you will go to Cabo da Roca, one of the most important sights of Europe. Then, your guide will drive you back to your hotel in Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais.
