Detailed Description
On this half-day tour, you will depart from the Tourist Village in Belize City, disembarking from your dinghy, look for the Diamonds International store in Terminal 2. Walk through the store to the Fort Street gate. At the door, a representative of Splash Wave Tours will receive you.
Next, you will wander around the city in a van and get to know most of Belize's historical sites, such as Baron Bliss Lighthouse, which is the resting place of the city's best-known benefactor, Memorial Park, the former city prison of Belize, today restored and declared a national museum of Mayan culture, Swing Bridge and many more.
On the way, you will hear the history of each of these places and interesting facts of when Belize was a tropical port and that was once the British colonial capital. The tour will end at the same starting point.
