Detailed Description
Meet your guide at Santa Catalina church to start your night at Seville’s oldest tapas bar, where you will enjoy a glass of vermouth paired with acron-fed Iberian ham. Then your guide will take you to interesting sites in the city where and you will see the Moorish influence everywhere.
Afterwards, you will visit a tiny tapas bar you might miss if you aren’t looking for it. This family-run bar serves fantastic orange wine that you can taste with cured Manchego cheese and slow-roasted pork belly drizzled with Spanish olive oil.
Then you will pass by the Cathedral, walk through the Barrio Santa Cruz and hear the Seville’s version of Romeo and Juliet. Then you will enjoy more tapas in a traditional bar packed with locals where you will try montaditos, little sandwiches with all sorts of goodness, paired with local wine.
To finish the tour, you will discover a few more of its secrets and hidden plazas as you go to a sit-down bar for shared plates. Frequently Asked Questions
-
What's a Devour Seville food tour?
Great question! A Devour Seville food tour is a fun, fascinating and (most importantly!) delicious introduction to the incredible city of Seville. Our food tours visit some of the city’s best traditional eateries, including tapas bars, local markets, taverns and shops, and hidden gems that few even know exist! You’ll taste some of Seville's best local food and gain fascinating insight into its age-old traditions. We keep our groups small and every tour is led by an English-speaking guide who knows Seville like the back of their hand and loves it to bits.
-
How many people will be on the tour?
Don’t worry, you won’t be part of a massive hoard following a guide with a flag or a flamenco fan! We keep our groups small and intimate, so the tour can squeeze into small, hidden places and you get personal time with your guide. The maximum number of guests on this tour is usually 10 people and we only require two guests to operate a tour.
-
What should I bring?
Most importantly, your appetite for food and knowledge! Also, keep in mind that tours take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if it looks like rain. Also, we recommend you wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be walking a few kilometres. Finally, while we do serve water on the tour at some stops, we recommend you bring a bottle of water.

Is this tour a good fit for families?
This tour is a great fit for curious teens who would enjoy learning about Madrid and Spain's fascinating history. We offer teen pricing and they will be served non-alcoholic drinks. Given the evening nature of this tour, we do restrict it to guests aged 13 years and older. If you're a family with younger kids, check out our daytime Tastes, Tapas & Traditions Food Tour.
