The Barcelona Beer Tour
In this 3 hour walking tour you will visit three drinking establishments. In the first one, you will taste some tapas and beer. Then you will continue your beer tasting tour with 1 caña and 4 craft half-pints. You will also tour a microbrewery and learn about the history of beer, how to identify and differentiate beer varieties and more. Your tour will begin in Placa Catalunya, where your guide will be wearing a purple t-shirt.

Detailed Description
Spain is not just for wine, Barcelona is emerging at the vanguard of the craft beer scene in Spain. The country now has 6 industrial beer companies, and now more than 350 microbreweries, 75 of which are here in Catalonia.
Your guide will be wearing a purple t-shirt and a purple umbrella in the meeting point. On this Barcelona Beer Tour, you will taste from a typical “caña” to the microbrews redefining Spanish drinking as we know it. You will walk through Barcelona’s beer district tasting 5 different beers. You will learn all about beer’s history, learn to identify and differentiate beer varieties, and learn to define the kinds beers that you like to drink.
At the first bar you will enjoy some tapas to make sure you don’t get too tipsy, but this is no replacement for a full meal.
Note: Please keep in mind, that we will be visiting three bars with beer, and decent food (one of the chefs has a Michelin star!) However, in order to make sure the tour doesn’t go over 3 hours, we ask that guests either wait till the last bar, or after the tour is over to grab a bite to eat.

Should you not be able to join your tour, let us know in advance. The date of your tour can be changed as long as we are informed before the starting time of your original tour.
Did you change plans and you are unable to attend the tour? Get in touch with us with at least 72 hours in advance and we’ll be able to give you a full refund. For a refund, write to ian@crafttoursspain.com
No refund will be issued in cash.
Missed Tour: There is no refund for guests that miss their tour departure time or cancel last minute.
