The Heart of the Cotswolds Tour

Depart at 9:00 AM from outside the Hotel Abbey, 1 North Parade. It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before. At this point, you will meet your local guide and go by minibus to the first stop at Castle Combe, known as the prettiest town in England. This place has been the scene of films like Stardust, Warhouse and Poirot.

Then, you will make a small walking tour through the town where you will have the opportunity to see the medieval clock in the church of St Andrews and the thirteenth century tomb of Sir Walter of Dunstanville. The next town you will meet will be Bibury and Arlington Row, according to Willian Morris, this is the most beautiful town in the Cotswolds. This place was built in the 14th century.

Then, you will travel in the mini coach on the roads that follow the Coln River, through some of the most virgin English fields. You will arrive at Bourton, known as the Venice of the Cotswolds with its picturesque stone bridge over the meandering Windrush River.

The next stop will be to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch at Stow on the World. This place is known as the historic center of the wool trade. You will visit the market, the Medieval Cross, a lot of shops and much more. You will be back in Bath at approximately 5:45 PM at the same starting point.
