Detailed Description
Starting at 7:00 AM from St Peter's square, you will meet your local guide who will give you your ticket and then tell you where your seat is located to enjoy the Papal Hearing. While you wait for the Pope's departure, the guide will give you some fascinating information about the papacy and the Vatican.
After the audience, you will quickly pass through the crowded streets of the Vatican until you reach a local restaurant where you will enjoy a wonderful Roman lunch.
You will continue with the Vatican Museums and explore the most important galleries and courtyards inside the Vatican Museum, such as the Gallery of the Maps and the Laocoon Group, before reaching the Sistine Chapel, masterpiece of the great Michelangelo.
You will admire the ethereal ceiling of Michelangelo's frescoes and then you will go directly to the Basilica of St Peter, where you will be amazed by the beauty of Michelangelo’s Pieta, and by works by Bernini and other great Italian masters. Finally, you will visit the tombs of the Popes and end the tour in St Peter’s Plaza.

In the event you need to cancel your tour with Selected Tours Italy, you must advise us in writing as soon as possible. If you do cancel, the following amounts are non-refundable: Cancellation after your deposit has been received but more than 7 days prior to the tour date: minimum of 30% of the total cost, more if components of your tour were secured with non-refundable deposits. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the tour date, or no-show: 100% of the total cost.
