The Squeeze Trip
In a 5 hours tour, in which you will visit the Geothermal Park in Orakei Korako, exploring the geysers, mud pools and more. Then you will pass through a narrow hollow cliff where through narrow cracks in the middle of an impressive native forest, finding waterfalls of warm waters. Then you will go to Lake Ohakuri sailing in the hot water pools. The start and end point of the tour will be at unit 2, 876 Acacia Bay Road, Acacia Bay, Taupo.

Detailed Description
Enjoy a 5 hour tour, where the meeting point with your guide will be at unit 2, 876 Acacia Bay Road, Acacia Bay, Taupo, to begin this incredible adventure on the Tutukau bridge, which takes you through the extraordinary landscapes and the natural beauty of the gorge, beyond the hidden valley in Orakei Korako, a geothermal park where you can see geysers, silica terraces, and mud pools boiling your kayak.
On the way you will stop at the challenge of the squeeze where you will land your kayak in deep water up to your knees, your guide will take you to a narrow gap in the cliff walls where we will begin to maneuver through narrow cracks, climb rocks and walk to through the warm waist in deep water in the middle of an impressive native New Zealand forest and where you can stand under waterfalls of hot water. With a small climb, you can take the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere while relaxing in the hot springs of a natural-heated pool.
Then you will return to the kayaks to embark for your next destination of descent to the paradisiac valley, which is a large lagoon with small hot springs of thermal water that leads to the ohakuri lake. Here you can kayak through the hot pools and feel the temperature below you, while surrounded by farmland and natural forests. At the end of the tour, you will return to the same place where you started.

- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in our kayaks.
Cancellation Policy
If a customer chooses to cancel:
Up to 48 hours before departure time rebooking at no extra cost, or refund less 10% booking fee. Within 24 to 48 hours before departure time rebooking at no extra cost, or refund less 50%. Within 24 hours of departure or after departure time rebook with a 10% booking fee or no refund.
Cancellation by the Guide:
Taupo kayaking Adventures reserves the right to cancel or amend any tour due to road, track, water or weather conditions. If we cancel a tour due to such circumstances, you will have the following options:
Cancel the day’s outing for a full refund:
Choose an alternate tour or walk option from the Operator’s available services. Customers will be refunded the cost of the tour less the price of the alternative trip chosen.
You will receive no refund:
If you miss the tour departure (e.g sleeping late, unexpected illness or injury, vehicle breakdowns, etc), If we have to cancel the booking due to clients ill health, poor fitness, intoxication.
