Detailed Description
This walk begins in front of the San Sebastian Tourist Office on Alameda Boulevard at 12:00 PM or at 6:00 PM, you will meet your local guide and then you will join with your other colleagues in this culinary experience. You can learn, for 3 hours, about the fascinating history of the cuisine and the complex culture of the city.
In the first place, you can try a delicious cider accompanied by seafood pintxos. Then, you will taste the Iberian ham of acorn and together with the guide you will learn some interesting facts and listen to the recipe to prepare your own pintxos.
You will also taste delicacies such as anchovies, local meat, cod meat, pork and more. Along the way you will visit some taverns you will taste the favourite local pintxos of Devour San Sebastián accompanied by wines, cider and more. You will immerse yourself in the culture and history of the Basque Country in its flavours.
In total, you will visit 6 unique places, some with more than 10 years old, where you can get to know the owners up close, learn from them local recipes, learn how to prepare crunchy and dry apple cider, red and white wines. You will finish the tour near the same starting point in the Alameda del Boulevard.
