When daylight gives way to night, the lights of the city illuminate many wonderful places in an impressive way, so the night is perfect to go out, take the Segway and be surprised by the beauty of Valencia. Segway Anyway offers two different options to do so, which leaves us with the difficulty of choosing. Both departure from Carres dels Sabaters, 8 / Valencia 46003, for approximately two hours.
Our first option of the night tour of Valencia is the City of Arts and Port
The City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia is one of the 12 treasures of Spain. 9000 proposals were launched on the Internet, but the City of Arts and Sciences was chosen as one of the 12 most interesting and beautiful places in Spain by its people. It is not just one building, but six, and they all have their elegance. Pass the L'Hemisfèric, which looks like a futuristic giant splinter eye, and stroll through the L'Oceanogràfic, one of the largest aquariums in the world that houses dolphins, belugas and jellyfish, is a pleasure while the sun still shines. But illuminated in the dark, these buildings are an exceptional delight for those who take the time to observe it in detail.
After admiring the gems of the City of Arts and Sciences, we will take our Segways to the Maritime Port. The port itself is the fifth busiest port in Europe, and although many ships are loaded and unloaded in the port, you will experience that watching the hustle and bustle has a calming effect in the light of the moon. The generous promenade of Valencia and the wide beach of Malvarrosa are located next to the seaport. Numerous restaurants serve fish and tapas filling the air with the typical Mediterranean smell. The sound of the sea will make us wish never to leave the place. We will see and feel it, at night, the beach and the port are unfolding their certain type of magic.
Our second option of the night tour is Valencia Old Town
The old town of Valencia is a magical place where history comes to life and people meet, entertain and enjoy life. When it gets dark, the center of the city is a very lively and crowded place, the party people populate the narrow, winding streets and the restaurants and bars are full of chatting guests. The lights and illuminations add more magic to the ancient city that we want to discover during this special night tour.
We will meet at the impressive city gate, Torres de Serranos, once a gate that secures the city from the invaders. Now it has been renovated with much detail to its previous layout and is a perfect starting point for our journey through history and wonder.
From there we will enter the beautiful Turia Park, an ancient river now converted into a 9 kilometer long park with exotic plants and trees and many sports facilities. We will arrive at Colón street and we will enter the Puerta del Mar Square. It offers an impressive arch, the old Portal del Real that was destroyed in 1865 and rebuilt in marble. The lights reveal the cross in the main arch, which was added to remind those who lost their lives in the Spanish Civil War. On Segway, we will explore Calle Colón, the main artery of the city with many shops and restaurants until we reach the bullring located next to Estación del Norte. This neoclassical building is impressive to see, with its variety of brick arches and wooden balustrades. Most of the time, the bullring is no longer used, but during the Fallas (the most popular party in Valencia) bullfights are held.
Our route continues passing through the Cathedral of Santa María, a Catholic church of surprising beauty consecrated in 1238 by the first bishop of Valencia. In the Hospital Park we will have time to rest before arriving at our destination, the second old door of Valencia, Torres de Quart. If you feel like it, you can go up the stairs and have a look at the city from above. Or you look at the stars and dream and enjoy one of those mystical nights in Valencia.
At the end of either of these two options we will return to our initial meeting point Carres dels Sabaters, 8 / Valencia 46003, to conclude our tour.

Do you provide instructions before segway tour?
We provide high security for our customers. It means:

What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable. It is recommended to have a good pair of boots, or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable.

Not much, remember our trips are all inclusive. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and a day pack to carry extra snacks and water.

Do I have to make a reservation or can I just show up?
Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.

Are we going hiking even though it’s raining and windy?
We do segway in the rain, snow, wind and any other weather conditions that nature decides to throw at us. After all, we’re going on adventures! If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the trip will be changed or postponed. You will be notified the week of your trip if there are changes due to weather.
