This tour starts when you meet your guide at the public pier of Gamboa, to go by boat to the Monkey Island, where you can feed the monkeys. Then your guide will take you by boat to the Emberá community and you will be received with music and traditional dances of their culture, they will also tell you a bit of their history, you will do a walking tour of the community and they will give you a traditional lunch. The tour lasts 3 hours and ends with your return to the public pier of Gamboa.

Detailed Description
You will meet your guide at the public pier of Gamboa to board the boat that will take you to the Monkey Island, the boat trip takes about 15 minutes.
Upon arriving at Monkey Island, the boat will stop the engine and the monkeys begin to descend from the trees to the boat, so you can feed them and take pictures with them. You will be in this place for an estimated time of 15 minutes.
After spending time with the monkeys, your guide will take you to the Emberá Katuma community. When you arrive at the community, the locals will welcome you with traditional music and dances. Then, they will give you a little talk about their history and you will do a walking tour to get to know the community. There are handmade crafts by locals available for purchase, if you wish you can buy.
Before finishing the tour you will taste a delicious traditional lunch, which is usually fish accompanied by fried green plantains "patacones" or rice with coconut and a bottle of water or orange juice.
The tour ends with your return by boat to the public pier of Gamboa.
The Gamboa public pier is located in the Panama Canal Zone in the province of Colón, just 45 minutes from Panama City. To do this tour you must go on your own to the Gamboa public pier. Normally your hotel can help you organize a round trip transportation.
Children from 0 to 12 years: Do not pay the price of tour.
