Detailed Description
You will start this 3 hours walking tour in the main square Piassa Tasso, our meeting point, at 10:30 AM or 4:00 PM.
Then you will visit 8 different locations to tease the taste buds with more than 13 delectable traditional food and drink specialties chosen to highlight the best local flavors of the Campania region. You will stroll through the charming streets of Sorrento with the majestic Mount Vesuvius, as the backdrop, while savoring authentic dishes and sipping local libations. You’ll meet the charismatic entrepreneurs, chefs, and local artisans who preserve these cultural traditions.
The stops include a favorite family owned trattoria serving tradition gnocchi Sorrentina and buffalo mozzarella, a lemon grove and limoncello factory, unique style pizzeria, the candy man’s specialty bon bons, market meats, cheeses and artisanal beer, the best arancini rice balls and Neapolitan sfogliatelle pastries and gelato!
Between tastings, you will gain insights into the city’s cultural highlights, food history and tips of “how to eat Italian”. Our passionate, local guides share their knowledge and recommendations of architectural gems, enchanting local flora, fascinating ruins and exciting local attractions and restaurants.

Cancellation Policy
Within 2 weeks of your tour or activity date, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Tours run regardless of weather conditions. Due to the attention and organization that goes into each tour, please take careful note of our cancellation policies:

- To change the time or date of a tour on existing reservations, an administration fee of €15.00 EUR per person may be charged
- Sorrento Food Tours retains the right to issue refunds at our discretion.
If the tour you are booked on has not met minimum numbers, we can cancel it up to 48 hours in advance. You will be notified via email with options to either move to another time slot or day, should these arrangements not fit in with your schedule, we will provide a 100% refund.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
All of our food tours and classes are vegetarian friendly. Please notify us of your dietary restrictions upon booking. Changes cannot be made during the tour. We try to accommodate all requests; however, some vendors are limited to what they can offer.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated! The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15% - 20%.

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at most of the food-tasting locations.

What do we do in case of bad weather?
We dine with rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. Please dress accordingly or bring umbrella.

Feel free to bring your camera, wear sunscreen and hat in summer and comfortable walking shoes. Water is available for purchase at all locations and included at lunch.
