Detailed Description
Day 1: The Rock of Cashel and Cork City
Departing from The Ashling Hotel on Parkgate Street, Dublin at 1:00 PM. You will start with this adventure in the capital of Ireland, also known as the city of the Fair. First, you will get to know the south of the rebel county of Cork and its wild Atlantic coast.
On the way, you will make a stop at the Rock of Cashel, a spectacular group of medieval buildings in a limestone outcrop and home to the High Kings of Ireland. After lunch, you will continue this trip to Cork, which is the starting point of Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland and where at night you can relax and enjoy its picturesque surroundings and its friendly atmosphere.
Day 2: Peninsula Mizen Head
You will be in the beautiful city of Cork, where you can explore its coast and climb the mountain passes to reach the majestic surroundings of Killarney. On the way, you will make a stop at a Stone Age tomb called Altar Wedge Tomb, which is located dramatically on the waterfront overlooking Toormore Bay.
Continue to one of the southernmost points of Ireland, Mizen Head. You will have the option to visit the Mizen Head signal station or take a walk through the golden cord of Barleycove beach. You will make a stop to take lunch and you will also have a few minutes to rest while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the city.
Next, you will know the way over the mountainous terrain that separates Cork and Kerry before arriving at the picturesque city of Killarney. It is the home of Ireland's first national park with spectacular sparkling lakes, beautiful nature, good food, and a vibrant cultural environment.
Day 3: Discover Killarney
You can spend a relaxing morning in Killarney or you can explore the rich historical points of interest of the city and its magnificent National Park. That afternoon, you will make a fascinating kayak tour through the Killarney Lakes that will tour the unique surroundings of Ross Island, where you will explore unique limestone caves and an incredible 15th-century castle. That night, you can experience the great food offer of Killarney and its vibrant musical nightlife.
Day 4: The Ring of Kerry and Valentina Island Tour
Today, you will be dazzled to discover the real beauty of the world famous Ring of Kerry. Considered one of the most beautiful destinations to explore in Ireland, the Ring of Kerry offers spectacular landscapes of rugged coastline, golden beaches, glittering lakes, picturesque villages and spectacular mountains.
You can take an incredible tour of the spectacular island of Valentia, where you will discover its incredible history and heritage, explore its magical surroundings on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and, if you are lucky, you will enjoy the view of the dramatic Skellig Islands, where some scenes of Star Wars 7 were filleted. After lunch, you will slowly return to Killarney stopping at many spectacular viewpoints to learn of its historical importance and the opportunity to take that photo that will ensure a memory of this trip.
Day 5: Dingle and Slea Head
The main destination will be Dingle, you can explore this beautiful peninsula full of archaeological and historical wonders. The first stop will be at Inch Beach, famous for being the place where an inch is actually three miles long. Here you can take a walk along its golden sand and enjoy the sound of the waves that crash on land.
You will go back to the bus to travel to the west and the limit of Europe, also known as Slea Head. Admire the breathtaking landscapes of the rugged wild coast, the golden beaches, and the magnificent Blasket Islands. You will continue around this vibrant peninsula exploring its vast Gaelic culture and learning some words in Irish on the way. Before returning to Killarney, you will visit Dingle town, a picturesque fishing village that is famous for Fungi, the dolphin that has been local for almost 30 years.
Day 6: Killarney to Doolin on the Cliffs of Moher
Leaving Killarney you will meet the north side, you will travel along the edge of Europe towards the narrow Cliffs of Moher in County Clare. This wonder of Ireland extends for 10 km, allows you to walk around, take incredible photographs and visit the interpretation center that allowed you to make this wonderful creation was created by the hand of nature and learn about its unique geological application. That same afternoon, travel to the town of Doolin, where you will spend the night. Here you will experience incredible presentations of traditional music, fantastic seafood and, of course, meet the locals.
Day 7: The Wild Burren
You will leave north in the morning towards Galway to explore the spectacular scenery and the history of the wild Burren. You will get to know its unique ecosystem, the historical site of the Cathedral of Kilfenora and the spectacular Tomb of Poulnabrone, dating from the Neolithic period.
On the way, you will appreciate the remarkable lunar terrain of the wild Burren and the waves of the Atlantic that is in Galway Bay. Before arriving along the coast, visit the Aillwee Caves, the Bird of Prey Center and the picturesque coastal village of Ballyvaughan. The next stop will be in the capital of Bohemia in Ireland, the city of Galway.
That night, enjoy the beautiful streets of the city and get to know the night, hang out in some of the lively cafes and bars of Galway or try the famous Galway culinary.
Day 8: Discover Dublin
You will leave from Galway, taking the road to the east, crossing the Shannon River on the route to the city of Dublin. You will have the opportunity to visit many of its historic attractions, including hopping on Hop-on Hop-off City Tour or simply relax and explore its vibrant streets.
The bus will leave you at the same starting point at the Ashling Hotel, where you can get to know the city of Dublin at your own pace.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing to Wild ‘N’ Happy and confirmed by Wild ‘N’ Happy.
48 or more: the Full amount paid minus a € 20.00 EUR administrative fee.
28-47: 70% of full amount.
14-27: 50% of full amount.
Less than 14: No refund.
At the discretion of Wild ‘N’ Happy management, clients who cancel 14 or more days in advance will be able to reschedule an activity/tour for a € 20.00 EUR fee. Subject to availability.
Refunds will be calculated from the day the notification of cancellation is received. Refunds are based on the above chart.
Clients are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation fees.
If the client leaves an activity/tour for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. No refund will be made if the client fails to join an activity/tour, join it after its designated departure date, or leave it prior to its completion. The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees which may be levied by accommodation providers, travel agents or third party tour and transport operator fees.
We may cancel an activity/tour at any time up to 48 days before departure. We may cancel an activity/tour at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel the activity/tour, the Agent can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that the client may have incurred as a result of their booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

When traveling with Wild ‘N’ Happy we have your experience and comfort in mind. For that reason, we use a 3-4 star or above hotel and guesthouse accommodation throughout our tours. Each location is carefully selected to provide you with an authentic and memorable experience.

Can you provide me with a list of accommodation venues we will be staying at?
You will be provided with a full listing of accommodation in our Welcome to Ireland pack which will be sent to you via email 4 weeks prior to your arrival in Ireland.
If your family requires contact information, or in case of emergency, please contact the Tour Leader directly. Their contact details will also be listed in the Welcome to Ireland pack. -
What are the age restrictions on your tours?
To travel independently you must be at least 18 years of age. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 18. There are no upper age limits on our tours. Our Family Adventures are open to families with children aged between 5 and 17 years of age.
All passengers are required to complete a medical questionnaire. -
I have special dietary requirements – will they be catered for?
We will try our very best to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please let us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies and we’ll pass the information onto your Tour Leaders.

What will the food be like on my tour?
Food is one of the most exciting parts of travel. There may be some familiar dishes but you may encounter new and interesting culinary delights that for the adventurer may just be worth the risk. However, if you don’t like to take risks with your food then our flexible itineraries often allow you to eat with the group or explore on your own – this means you can eat to suit any budget or desire.

In most cases, it is possible to drink the local water in Ireland. However, it is always wise to ask the premises that you are at if it is possible.

Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group tour?
Please make sure you are happy with your group tour itinerary before booking because we are unable to change them for individual travelers. However, if you and a group of friends, colleagues would like your own personally designed itinerary, get in contact with us and we will be more than happy to tailor an itinerary that is just right for you.

Do I book and pay for optional activities now or during the trip?
You have the option of pre-booking optional activities or booking them on arrival at each destination. Taking the pre-booking option will in most cases guarantee you a place on the selected activity. In the case of not pre-booking, we will try our best to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee there will be availability.
