Detailed Description
The wine and tapas experience take you to wander through the beautiful streets of El Born medieval neighbourhood on a tour of the best wines and food from Spain.
You will start from Arc de Triomf and get introduced to the traditions of Barcelona locals when it comes to apertifs at an ancient Bodega (Old Tavern) where local buy barrel wine and eat traditional tapas. Here you will pour wines from the barrel, eat freshly carved cured meats and manchego cheese, and get an introduction to the world of cavas (the Spanish sparkling wine).
On this tour you will visit a boutique wine shop and get tips on how to select the best bottle when buying wine, and finally taste an array of complex Spanish red wines paired with traditional tapas at a Mediterranean restaurant.
Also, you will wander down picturesque streets of Barcelona and see off the beaten path sights. The tour ends near the Jaume I metro station.
