Detailed Description
The starting point will be at the Manchester Piccadilly train station at 8:30 PM, it is better if you arrive 10 minutes before the departure time. Once at the train station, you will meet a representative of Manchester Sightseeing where he will give you your train ticket and a guide to use throughout the tour.
During the trip from Manchester to York, you can admire the view of the Pennine and Yorkshire Hills, this trip will last 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then, you will arrive at your first stop at Jorvik Viking Center, a center with Viking houses with more than 1,000 years and artifacts that were used at that time.
Next, you will visit the York Cathedral. This church is one of the best medieval buildings in Europe and was built between 1220 and 1472.
The next stop will be at York's amazing 2-story tourist bus. Where you can visit 30 of the city's main attractions such as York Minster, Clifford's Tower, Castle Museum and more. You will return to the York train station to return to Manchester at night.
